DonMar Came Back With Exactly What We Expected May 15, 2026

After getting a heat pump replacement proposal from a local installer partnered with Costco that promoted a $2,000 rebate program, but when the quote came back over $5K more than expected, we sent out 6 invites for quotes. DonMar came back with exactly what we expected and less than anyone else. Not only that, the Carrier model was better than the others offered, including the only one that matched a Carrier internal unit with the external condenser instead of an off-brand. The installing crew was very professional and courteous. I was never so happy to write a 5-figure check in my life ;)

Donmar Heating, Cooling & Plumbing technicians are excellent! Other companies send technicians to my house that have never seen a packaged unit heat pump and don't know how to work on it and suggest replacing it for a ludicrous amount of money. No problem for Donmar! They save me a lot of money! Therefore, I love them! Thank you, Donmar!

We just had a Carrier heat pump unit installed last week. We had been using a competitor for over 10 years and decided we wanted to give Donmar a chance. Longevity with the competitor was great, but it had developed into complacency and a sales service call twice a year. Anyway, Carlos, Fernando, and Ricardo were great. It ended up being an all-day job because the new unit wouldn't fit through the attic opening. No issues with the professionalism and work ethic. They put down tarps to not damage the floors and picked up all the trash and debris at the end. We did call back in the morning as it sounded like the damper was not adjusted or came loose. All of the air was coming through one vent and sounded like a torrential rainstorm. We called at 7 a.m. and Mayer was onsite around 12 p.m. He confirmed that the issue was a loose nut holding the damper. Mayer fully tested the system before leaving. Overall great service so far. Even though Donmar had to come out the next day, we wouldn't say that it was a big deal. They were very responsive and acknowledged the issue and error.
