Quiet and efficient heat pump
We sought three estimates for a new heat pump. One company dropped out, a second offered a basic, with same features as the earlier one they had installed, unit while Donmar presented us with four choices. Each was eligible for the Federal Tax Credit. The unit we selected has met our needs. It is quiet and seems to provide more heat in cold weather conditions than our previous model. Also, early on (it was installed in October) we used the A/C function. The cold air the unit produced was more than ample. We noticed a whistling sound when the unit ran. Donmar sent a person to solve the problem. Turned out a return air vent cover needed some tweaking. The new unit was drawing more air than the previous one. Combined with using the larger air filter, the issue was resolved. The Donmar staff could not have been more helpful and answered all our questions. A friend recommended them, and I recommend them too.
